Meet Corliss Johnson, one of our Supportive Living Specialists!

Corliss johnson for spotlight

Here at Integrity, Inc., our employees are like family. Get to know Corliss!

We are pleased to finally do a spotlight on the wonderful Corliss Johnson, one of our supportive living specialists. She has been with us for 13 years and in that time, we have grown to know and love her—and we want you to feel the same!

Corliss is a financial counselor at UAMS and works with Integrity, Inc. as a supportive living specialist. We asked her some questions to help you get to know her better!

What do you like most about working at Integrity?

I enjoy the fact that it is a loving and caring agency that truly cares about people. That alone makes it so easy to work with Integrity because it allows me the opportunity to give back. I have been here since October of 2004, and I still enjoy this aspect of my work.

Can you tell us about a particular student or client that has changed the way you think about your work?

I work overnight with two non-verbal individuals, and it can be challenging. I didn’t think that I could provide the care that they needed. But after praying about it and researching their diagnoses, I have learned ways to communicate with them, relate to them, and be there for them. In July, I will have been working with them for a year—I love those girls like they are my own.

Do you have any success stories from Integrity?

To me, the staff is a success story. People in leadership roles at Integrity are always there to provide a listening ear and a helpful solution. The employees here are so understanding and loving. You have to have patience and have a caring heart to work here and be part of our team, because our clients see that. Here, everyone knows that they are supported.

Ms. Vicki and Tim are great leaders, and they have a team of people who are caring and who are always looking out for the best interest of the people we work for.

Tell us a little about yourself!

I love spending time with my four grandkids—one of them is seven and she has her own cell phone, so she calls me all the time just to say “granny, I have something I need to tell you…”. It makes my day!

At Integrity, Inc., we value the people who work with us; the backbone of our organization is our staff. If you are looking for a place that provides disability services, foster care, elder care, personal care, and supported employment to the Central Arkansas community, look no further. Contact us to learn more about these services by calling (501) 406-0442.
